Woman says failure to diagnose cancer worsened her condition

Cancer can be a devastating and potentially life-altering diagnosis, but a lack of such a diagnosis may ultimately be even worse. One woman claims that a failure to diagnose her cancer resulted in it spreading, and she is seeking financial damages for the alleged neglect. New Jersey patients who have similarly suffered from a missed diagnosis may choose to follow a similar course of action.

Inmate claims failure to recognize cancer caused him serious harm

Even while incarcerated, inmates serving time for various convictions are still legally entitled to proper healthcare. Whether incarcerated or not, the inability to provide an accurate and timely diagnosis can have serious consequences on the overall health of New Jersey patients.

Surgeon accused of not following standards of care for ballerina

When it comes to a doctor’s advice, patients generally want to be able to put their full trust behind it. A ballerina from a neighboring state claims that the advice she received from her doctor was not in her best interests and actually went against standards of care. Sadly, patients in New Jersey are also not immune to this sort of failure in health care.
