Standards of care concern leads to claims of medical malpractice

Many New Jersey residents undergo elective surgery each year. In an attempt to look better in their own eyes and feel better about themselves, research is completed and the decision is made. Doctors' appointments are scheduled and the process begins. This is all done in anticipation of the final results and the assumption that the appropriate standards of care will be followed.

Christmas lights and alleged hospital negligence

Hanging Christmas lights is a tradition in many New Jersey homes. Dad often hangs the lights while the rest of the family helps. This task often involves climbing around on roofs and ladders, and one must be very careful not to fall. One unfortunate gentleman did fall while hanging Christmas lights in December 2011, and what began as a Christmas tradition ended in a claim of hospital negligence.

Did hospital negligence lead to infectious meningitis?

When one's child is sick, parents often become concerned. Then, if the child is hospitalized and must undergo an operation, the parents often become anxious and worried. Yet, even with thoughts of every worst possible scenario running through their heads, the thought of hospital negligence is often not one of them.

Newborn's injuries result of hospital negligence?

Pregnancy is an exciting time for most New Jersey moms-to-be. The excitement and nervous apprehension over when the baby will arrive make this both a stressful and joyous time for most. Baby showers are held, the nursery is decorated and bottles are ready. As the due date approaches, the expectant parents are often concerned about their baby; however, they often do not consider hospital negligence as something to be worried about.
